Mary Grace — Owner, Bodyworker and Visionary

Mary brings eleven years of experience teaching adult and community education into her practice of holistic health. Certified in massage therapy in 1994, she has done extensive continuing education in the fields of subtle energy, flower essences and intuitive development. She has extensively studied with several of the world’s most respected flower essence manufacturers and offers private consultations and intuitive insight into the selection and custom blending.

Her business, Unwindings, offers services in several types of massage, acupuncture and reflexology as well as teaching a variety of classes in wellness, self healing, and spiritual development. In addition, through her Feng Shui consulting practice, Spaces of Grace, Mary brings people and their environments into harmony, creating well-being for both.

Mary is also available for Astrological insight or tarot readings. She is noted for her practical and entertaining approach to healing reflected in the mission of Unwindings: to have fun and be of service.

Doris Crocker — CMT, Reiki Master, Integrative Healer/Teacher

Doris has 20 years’ experience in hands-on healing. She uses color and sound with assistance of ascended masters and archangels. Doris achieves healing by releasing issues from the tissue and creating balance where the body has been disturbed by our changing times.

Stacey brings over 20 years of experience to her caring touch therapy. Check out her amazing nature inspired art from her “Beyond the Leaf” collection. She is available Tuesday- Saturday by appointment.

 

 

 

Marcia Ignelzi — Practitioner of Acupuncture enhanced with Qi Gong and Reiki

A registered nurse practicing since 1982 specializing in neonatal care, Marcia attended Oregon College of Oriental Medicine’s master’s degree program of Traditional Chinese Medicine for four years. While there, she studied three and a half years of qi gong, an ancient style of energy work for balancing body, mind and spirit.

Beginning with her first yoga class in 1997, Mary Beth knew that yoga needed to be part of her life. She began her pursuit of yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts and after moving to Kalamazoo in 1999 has study with many others . After 15 years of practicing, she started her YogaFit Level One Teaching certificate in 2012 and completed her 200 hour RYT through Sangha Yoga in 2015 She is passionate about sharing her love of yoga with others, especially beginners!

Jason Wood, proprietor of “Zoo City,” has joined Unwindings in the lower level to offer fitness classes and personal training. Zoo City is committed to providing a client centered, non-prescriptive service which includes a structured program of strength training, aerobic training, nutrition planning and advice where the client is involved in program personalization every step of the way. Jason helps you determine what is happening in your body and life, what you might want to change and ways to go about doing it. In the end, it’s not just about your body. Its about your body, mind, and spirit!

 

 

Susan Corak – Yoga Instructor

Susan is a fitness fanatic and yoga enthusiast who is spending her “retirement” sharing her life-long passion for wellness with others. She holds certifications in personal training and group exercise instruction through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and is pursuing her Yogafit 200RYT. Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in health education and psychology from Central Michigan University. Susan teaches a gentle yoga class for the “Young at Heart” designed to meet the needs of those experiencing limited range of motion due to aging, injury or illness.
