Recovery Community for all addictions

July 20, 2019 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Donations Accepted

Refuge Recovery is a non-theistic, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery from addictions of all kinds.

We are a community of people dedicated to the practices of mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity, using meditation and kindness to heal the pain and suffering that addiction has caused in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

We offer multiple opportunities weekly to meditate with others including one weekend day. All meetings are led from the book written by Noah Levine “Refuge Recovery”.

Open to people of all backgrounds and respectful of all recovery paths, these meetings are appropriate for anyone in, or interested in recovery from any form of addictive behavior. No prior meditation experience necessary.

Our meetings are always free; however donations are encouraged (Dana).

The meeting schedule for the state of Michigan can be found on the main Refuge Recovery page.

The meetings are facilitated by members of the Sangha including some involved in recovery resources in the Kalamazoo area.
